Metal manhole covers, which are used for public facilities in all weathers conditions, start rusting in the long run. This makes them a danger to the environment. Children could play on it with the danger that they sag through it. Maintenance on these covers is expensive. Glass reinforced (FRP) covers are the perfect solution. Glass reinforced covers are durable, slip resistant, stench close, very strong and available in any color. GRP gratings are mounted under the hatch. Both the covers and the gratings can be fitted with locks, casement stays or gas springs. The product is manufactured in the Netherlands!
