STC Trade has delivered two HDPE inlet strainers to Royal Huisman for a ship under construction. The special thing about this product is, apart from the plastic filter, is a transparent lid. This makes it possible to see immediately if there is too much pollution in the filters.
All materials that come into contact with seawater are now made of plastic, a huge advantage of this design. Corrosion does not get a grip on the sea inlet, an important part of the cooling system of the ship.
With this unique solution, STC Trade further expand its range and new combinations are born.
